Joe Biden has been in office for less than a year, yet he has already been caught in a few scandals. This scandal involves Big Tech manipulating his view counts on YouTube and his follower count on Twitter.
Big Tech and the Biden team seem to be working together to trick the American people into believing that Biden is more popular than he actually is.
Twitter Manipulation
The Gateway Pundit reports: “Twitter appears to be creating fake accounts to follow Biden and give his ostensibly dismal popularity a boost, in yet another pitiful attempt to convince the world that the scandal-plagued Democrat won the presidential election by an unprecedented and unrealistic 81 million American votes.”
Twitter user Bre Wylde pointed out the extremely unrealistic daily increase in Biden’s followers, writing, “Joe’s been getting 100,000 followers on twitter every day! Except they’re ALL FAKE!!”

“If you go to Joe Biden’s followers, I’d say at least 70 percent of them all joined [Twitter] in January and have zero followers,” she states in the video attached to her tweet, as she clicks on random accounts that follow Joe Biden. Many of the profiles she shows seem to prove her point, as their profiles show 0 followers and a join date of January 2021.
Joe Biden currently has 6.3 million followers on Twitter. At the time of his suspension from Twitter, President Trump had approximately 88.7 million followers.
YouTube Manipulation
YouTube has also been manipulating numbers in favor of Biden, essentially doing damage control for the unpopular president.
Since Biden’s inauguration, every single video shared on the White House’s official YouTube channel has received significantly more dislikes than likes.
As of January 26, a video of Biden’s inauguration, which is the most viewed video on the channel, has amassed 68,000 dislikes and just 14,000 likes, as seen in the picture below.
It seems that the significant difference between the number of likes and dislikes on that particular video was too much for YouTube to be able to manipulate, but that is not the case with every video.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s first press conference on January 20 was downvoted by the American public on YouTube. Then, all of a sudden, YouTube decided to rescue Biden from his own unpopularity, erasing several thousand dislikes.
Hours after the first screenshot was taken, showing 10,000 dislikes and only 1,800 likes, the numbers changed to 2,500 likes and 3,100 dislikes.
The comment section on the official White House YouTube channel was also disabled, preventing the American people from responding to their president.
It is concerning that a federal appeals court prevented President Trump from blocking people on his Twitter account, citing a violation of the Constitution, yet Biden is able to disable comments while being protected by Big Tech.
