Alarming: Biden’s Potential Supreme Court Pick Reveals Her TRUE Colors in Show of Social Justice

One of President Biden’s top candidates to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court has been doing everything in her power to minimize the prison sentence given to a BLM rioter who burned down a pawn shop in 2020, killing a man in the process. Minnesota U.S. District Court Judge Wilhelmina Wright is reportedly a prominent name on the list of black female judges in the running to replace Breyer.

Supreme Court contender goes easy on BLM arsonist

Montez Terriel Lee Jr. was convicted for intentionally starting a fire during the George Floyd riots in Minneapolis on May 28, 2020.

The pawnshop he set fire to was not unoccupied at the time; it was later discovered that Oscar Stewart, a local father of five, was trapped inside and died when the shop was set alight.

The conviction should have meant that the arsonist would be given a 20 year prison sentence. Unfortunately, in the social justice era some people know how to literally get away with murder.

Montez Terriel Lee Jr. claimed as his defense that he was participating in a legitimate protest against police brutality and that if it evolved into rioting then his behavior was, as Martin Luther King Jr. once described it, “the language of the unheard.”

Remarkably, even prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office accepted these excuses, saying that a man who burned a man alive inside a pawnshop during a violent riot was “simply caught up” in events due to his righteous indignation and opposition to racism.

Judge Wright agreed, giving Lee a mere 10 year sentence. He is unlikely to serve the entirety of it. Negligible consequences for killing someone and putting other lives at risk.

Unequal treatment

If Wilhelmina Wright makes it to the Supreme Court she will represent the final stages of confirmation that there are separate legal standards being applied on a racial basis in the United States now.

The man who only filmed the death of Ahmaud Arbery will be in prison for the rest of his life. Montez Terriel Lee burned a man alive and was only given half of the minimum sentence for it.

Last year one of the three black teenagers who attacked Tessa Majors, a white college student, and stabbed her to death in New York City was given only 18 months in detention.

His accomplices will almost certainly be out of prison by the time they are 30. None of the three have shown any remorse, but that wasn’t necessary to earn them the most lenient treatment possible.

The man who carried out the terrorist attack in Waukesha, Wisconsin was set free on negligible bail by a judge despite having a lifetime of violent crimes on his record.

The judges who go out of their way to free these violent criminals are nearly as dangerous to the American people as the criminals themselves. Republicans must fight tooth and nail to ensure that Wilhelmina Wright cannot bring her dangerous agenda to the Supreme Court.
