Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) actually said something relatively negative about Joe Biden.
But don’t worry, he must have realized what he said and he tried to temper it just a bit.
Even so, he admitted that Joe Biden’s clumsy handing of classified documents could be a national security risk.
Could Be a Problem
Schiff was asked if he thought the Biden documents presented a national security risk.
He responded, “I don’t think we can exclude the possibility without knowing more of the facts.
“We have asked for an assessment in the intelligence community of the Mar-a-Lago documents.
“I think we ought to get that same assessment of the documents found in the [Penn Biden Center] as well as the home of President Biden.”
He continued, “I’d like to know what these documents were. I’d like to know what the [special counsel’s] assessment is, whether there was any risk of exposure and what the harm would be and whether any mitigation needs to be done.
“I think that would be appropriate and consistent with what we requested in the case of Mar-a-Lago.”
Then he tried to cover for Biden a bit, reiterating the narrative we have heard from White House counsel.
He stated, “I think it’s important to point out that the Biden approach was very different in the sense that it looks – as far as we can tell – that it was inadvertent that these documents were in these locations.”
I am telling you right now, if the special counsel comes to the conclusion that these documents were “inadvertently” moved to Biden’s office, garage, and home library, conservatives around the country are going to blow their tops.
