Shop NowThere are some inherent disconnects between the authoritarian ‘green’ leftists and pretty much anyone with a lick of sanity. Donald Trump, Jr. and Congresswoman Lauren Boebert have both landed a full nuclear strike on Twitter to harshly decry word from the Biden-Harris regime that “President Biden’s plans to address climate change could encourage Americans to reduce their meat consumption by 90% by the year 2030,” according to the Washington Press.
Joe Biden’s climate plan includes cutting 90% of red meat from our diets by 2030. They want to limit us to about four pounds a year. Why doesn’t Joe stay out of my kitchen?

The difference between conservatives and these folks is simple: the vast majority of Americans agree that how much or how little meat we consume is absolutely none of the Federal Government’s damned business. See? Plain and simple. So even when we hear that the Biden White House is considering that they “Could encourage” Americans to reduce meat consumption, yes, that absolutely is a bridge too far.
It isn’t as the mainstream media Washington Press depicts as,
“any talk of reducing the consumption of red meat in favor of a more environmentally friendly, primarily plant-based diet is like a heresy that their blood-lusting palates simply cannot abide.”
What the American people “simply cannot abide” is being told what they can and cannot eat by a bunch of self-righteous, delusional, misanthropic collectivists, who believe that their collective fear of their “settled science” (which is a contradiction in terms) outweighs the individual rights of American citizens.
I’m pretty sure I ate 4 pounds of red meat yesterday. That’s going to be a hard NO from me. https://t.co/wvGC19cN6R

In Summary Don Jr. and Lauren Boebert Are Right
As Denis Leary so eloquently put it in the film ‘Demolition Man’:
“I’m the enemy, ’cause I like to think; I like to read. I’m into freedom of speech and freedom of choice. I’m the kind of guy likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder – “Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecued ribs with the side order of gravy fries?” I WANT high cholesterol. I wanna eat bacon and butter and BUCKETS of cheese, okay? I want to smoke Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section. I want to run through the streets naked with green jello all over my body reading playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly might feel the need to, okay, pal?”
Admittedly, maybe that last bit about the green jello isn’t very advisable, but you get the idea. This is a classic fallacy of burning down the strawman. The strawman the left has created here is that the Federal Government making “plans to address climate change (that) could encourage Americans to reduce their meat consumption” is something which is acceptable. It isn’t. And secondarily that Boebert and Trump, Jr. are objecting due to their “blood-lusting palates”, they aren’t.
They are representing the American people who would like the porter-house with sauteed onions and clarified butter, macaroni and cheese on the side with a nice tumbler of Tullamore Dew and Sueno de Torres Constitutional Cigar to enjoy after.
