It is no secret that the Democrats have been known to cozy up to suspicious characters in their pursuit of power.

This week, we were presented with yet another example – Sam Bankman-Fried, a crypto scammer and Democrat darling who has now been hit with a superseding indictment and charged with using stolen customer funds to make more than $100 million in campaign donations ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

Bankman-Fried is the Biden administration’s second biggest donor, and it was discovered that he had been funneling money through Ukraine.

This money was then used to fund the Democrats’ political campaigns.

In total, up to $2 billion from FTX (the crypto exchange founded by Bankman-Fried) went missing after it collapsed.

Following his involvement in witness tampering, Bankman-Fried now faces seven counts of conspiracy and fraud over FTX’s collapse.

He has also been charged with wire fraud and securities fraud by federal prosecutors who recently dropped a campaign finance charge against him due to ‘procedural failing’.

The news surrounding Sam Bankman-Fried leaves us asking one overarching question: Is the Democratic party really as clean as they make themselves out to be?

In an era where shady behavior is becoming more common among those in positions of power, this latest story may just confirm our worst suspicions about how far some will go for political gain – even if it means breaking laws along the way.

It comes as no surprise then that Republicans have reacted fiercely to this news; many have long held beliefs that Democratic politicians are corruptible at best or criminal at worst.
