Fetterman was getting the benefit of the doubt by most PA voters because of his stroke.
His performance since taking office has been horrific, and based on recent polling, the voters have had about enough of him.
Time to Go
Unless something drastic changes, Fetterman is going to be a one-and-done Senator.
I realize he still has five years to go in his term, but what signs has he offered up that things will get better?
In the latest Quinnipiac poll, Fetterman had only a 39 percent approval rating.
Compare that to a 50 percent disapproval rating, and you can see that Fetterman has a very big hill to climb.
This is what we love to refer to as buyer’s remorse, as voters in PA were sold a false bill of goods.
That is their fault, however, as we tried to warn them.
You must also keep in mind Fetterman is underwater at a time when Governor Shapiro, a fellow Democrat, is kicking ass in the polls.
Shapiro has a 57 percent approval rating, riding the momentum of the quick turnaround on the rebuilding of the section of I-95 that melted during a fire after a tanker crashed on the underpass.
Over and above Fetterman’s medical issues, and they are significant, his office has been tweaking quotes to make Fetterman appear more cognizant than he actually has been.
They were getting away with it for a hot minute, but that changed after Jeff Stein, a Washington Post economics reporter, used a quote provided by the Fetterman office, only to get shredded on social media when video proved the quote was completely inaccurate of what Fetterman had actually said.
All along, I have stated that Fetterman should be home focused on recovery, not attempting to perform the duties of a US senator.
If Fetterman got depressed after the election, what is going to happen to him after he sees these polling numbers?
