He hit up New Hampshire for another speaking engagement that is, in essence, an early preview of his campaign.
He not only saw a record fundraising haul, but he made light of a couple of liberals crashing his stage.
Paid Their Way
DeSantis was speaking when two women crashed the stage.
They had a banner they wanted to unfurl, but they never had a chance.
It was rather amusing that DeSantis never flinched and never missed a beat the whole time this was all going on.
He even managed to crack a quick joke…
He also defended the success of Florida during his time in office.
DeSantis stated, “We’re leading the nation on a whole host of issues. We’re number one in the country.. for net-in migration… we’re number one in new business formations, one number in tourism.
“We’re number one in economic freedom… we’re number one in education freedom.
“We’re number one in parental involvement in education. We lead not merely with words but with deeds.”
Then it seemed like he took a shot at Trump, stating, “There is no substitute for victory.
“Republicans need to the shake the culture of losing that has developed throughout our party in recent years. The time for excuses is over.
“We must get it done once and for all.”
He’s campaigning, it is just not official yet.
