Stan Greenberg, previously the senior pollster to President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore and U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, among others, is warning Dems that the vindication they are feeling after the 2022 election is false hope.
He is warning them that they better start focusing on the people instead of protecting Joe Biden.
False Hope
Greenberg stated, “They voted for Democrats despite the fact that this was an economy that was failing working people.
“But voters are desperate for real help.”
He continued, “Trump may have been weakened in this election, but another leader with that message poses an accelerated risk.”
Greenberg then warned Democrats off Joe Biden for the upcoming election.
He stated, “I wouldn’t have thought that Joe Biden would have been the candidate that the Democrats nominated.
“They went for him because they thought he was the one who would defeat Donald Trump.
“I don’t think that’ll be the case this time.”
He would not go so far as to name a replacement for Biden.
However, his overall feeling is that Democrats need to do what they did when they nominated the likes of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
They need to seek the next generation or doom their party to failure.
