Now that it is clear that RFK Jr. is not going anywhere, polling is starting to include Kennedy and the other third-party candidates.
That is bad news for Joe because it is only increasing Donald Trump’s lead.
No Bump
Joe Biden never got the bump that was anticipated from his State of the Union Address.
While there was some movement, it has quickly gone back to normal, showing Trump leading Biden in most battleground states as well as nationally.
The latest CNN poll that included third-party candidates showed that Trump extends his lead when they are included.
Trump is beating Biden 49 percent to 43 percent nationally in a head-to-head battle.
With the third-party candidates included, that lead is 42% to 33%, with Kennedy still holding steady at around 16%.
Kennedy’s campaign is now very active in going after young voters who are upset with Biden but not upset enough to pull the handle for Trump.
In fact, Kennedy’s VP just started a new podcast specifically to attract Gen Z voters.
Joe Biden is in real trouble here, and barring a massive mistake by Trump, it looks like this could be a landslide win.
However, don’t get too cocky because we all know that Trump is often his own worst enemy.
It may only take one off-the-cuff statement or a guilty verdict in one of these federal cases to flip the polling against Trump.
Even if that happens, it could actually be far more beneficial for Kennedy than it is Joe Biden, giving a third-party candidate a legitimate shot at the White House.
