Mosby, if you recall, got herself into some hot water for fraudulent mortgage applications.
Her legal team just walked out on her after a judge threatened contempt.
Now it looks as though she will be using a public defender in her case.

Mosby had claimed financial hardship so she could tap into her retirement accounts to purchase some vacation homes in Florida.
That was nonsense, as she was still receiving her full salary of almost $250,000 during the pandemic, when the transactions were taking place.
Her former attorney, A. Scott Bolden, had a bit of a meltdown during a recent interview.
“Bolden was scolded by the judge for accusing prosecutors of harboring racial animus, using profanity in an interview outside the Baltimore courthouse, and disclosing confidential responses from jurors in court filings,” reported Fox News.
After the judge threatened contempt, Bolden walked and took his legal team with him.
In addition to these charges, Mosby also failed to successfully prosecute the officers involved in the 2015 Freddie Gray death.
The final mark against her was more or less legalizing drug possession and prostitution to help free up the jails.
It is a good thing she did that because now there will be enough room for her when she loses this trial.
