This time it is former College Park mayor, Patrick Wojahn.
College Park is where the University of Maryland is based, which was actually serving as a playground to this sicko.
Disgusting
Wojahn pleaded guilty to more than 100 counts connected to the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
He had served as the mayor of College Park since 2015.
Police received a tip in February via the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about suspicious activity.
The social media account that had been flagged eventually led police right to the doorstep of Wojahn.
After his arrest, Wojahn announced his resignation, already planting the seed that it was beyond his control.
He cited his “mental health” issues as the reason he was resigning.
If the plea deal is accepted at sentencing by the judge, Wojahn would do 30 years in prison, far short of what someone starting down the barrel of 100 counts of child exploitation deserves.
