Here’s what TMZ reported:
Bret Michaels is currently being treated in a Nashville hospital … a medical emergency that occurred just before he was set to get on stage with Poison.
The band is part of a massive stadium tour with Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Joan Jett. Audience members claim members from Poison got on stage Thursday night and let the crowd know Bret had to go to the hospital for a bad reaction to medication.
Following the hospitalization, it is unknown how long the vocalist will be unable to perform. Additionally, it is unclear what COVID-19 medication Michaels received. The band still has two upcoming tour dates in Florida and Mississippi.

The incident was confirmed by Michaels in a statement on his Instagram, where he apologized to fans for being unable to perform at Nissan Stadium.
“To the incredible fans in Nashville, thank you for all your well wishes!! I was truly fired up to get on stage in Music City and perform, but due to an unforeseen medical complication and following hospitalization, it was not possible.”
“I send my deepest apologies for being unable to rock the stage tonight!!! I’m working on being back 100% very soon and hope you rocked hard with my friends Motley/Leppard/Joan and the Classless Act!!!,” he added.
At this time, it’s unknown whether the singer will be present at the band’s next tour stop in Jacksonville, Florida.
Sadly, this is not the first time that Michaels has experienced a serious health scare since the formation of Poison back in 1983.
