Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz attempted to get into a United States Postal Service facility at 4:00 am and then went on a hissy fit to the media because she could not get in.
Congresswoman Caught in USPS Battle
The disgraced former chair of the Democrat National Committee was outraged over being denied entry in the early hours of Friday morning.
“Caution tape was reportedly placed over a gate in the early morning hours at the first facility visited in Opa-locka to block entry when Wasserman Schultz arrived around 4 a.m.,” Miami news station WTVJ reported
“I was just told that I’m not allowed on the Postal Service property because I haven’t followed proper protocol,” the Democrat congresswoman said.
“This is an outrage, an absolute outrage. If they think they are going to throw a bedsheet over what’s going on behind these doors, they are mistaken.”
Wasserman Schultz Goes on Rampage
Watch:
Wasserman Shultz made the claim that she went to the same facility in February and was allowed.
She failed to take into consideration that the coronavirus was just getting on the scene in February but now it has affected many aspects.
The congresswoman tried again and visited another ESPS facility in Miami but was also denied entry at this location.
The president of the National Postal Mail Handlers Union Nicholas Mosezar accompanied her on both failed visits.
“Hours ago, that tape wasn’t there. All of a sudden today security is a priority, yet this is one of the worst secured facilities in this state,” he said of the first visit to the USPS facility in Opa-locka.
After seeing alarming pictures of delayed mail, some pieces undelivered since July, I arranged a tour of So Fla to see how idle sorting machines have impacted workflow. But when I arrived this AM I was greeted with police tape and armed guards blocking my entry. (1/3) pic.twitter.com/VJu68vgQhP

I toured the same facility earlier this year without issue. Since then, Trump mega-donor Louis DeJoy has been named Postmaster General and reports of mail, medicine and supply delays have been rampant. (2/3)

With Nov. 3 mail-in presidential ballots looming, Congressional oversight cannot be denied. What is DeJoy hiding? (3/3)

“Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said she requested entry into two South Florida mail-sorting facilities to get a first-hand look at what’s causing slowdowns in the U.S. Postal Service. The Congresswoman sits on the Oversight Committee with jurisdiction over the Postal Service,” WTVJ reported.
2020 Election Tensions Grow
Tensions continue to rise over the Democrats’ best efforts to steal the election with vote-by-mail measures and Wasserman Schultz is doing her part to try and cause interference.
