Former Barack Obama campaign manager Jim Messina did the media circuit and took the fire for Obama.
After Biden compared his little kitchen fire to the devastation that took place in Maui, conservatives went after him with everything they had.
Messina tried to say that he felt that Biden connected with people.
He also stated that he believes this is always the case.
Now, keep in mind, the people who were meeting with Biden were all screened to ensure that Joe would not run into any hostile residents during his trip.
After Messina gushed over Biden, Fox News’ Bill Hemmer called him out on the spot.
Hemmer stated, “Jim, this was — with all due respect, it was a kitchen fire that was put out within 20 minutes, and he’s standing there in absolute devastation where the people around him, if they are alive, they have lost everything.”

I am with Hemmer on this one.
Quite frankly, it was embarrassing as an American to see a sitting president make this tragedy about him instead of expressing nothing but empathy toward the victims.
