If President Joe Biden’s son ends up being convicted on all counts, then he’ll be facing up to 25 years in prison with a $250,000 fine for each offense.
He will also be subject to random drug testing and must enter a drug counseling program with restrictions on alcohol use as well as illegal drugs or firearms possession.

Abbe Lowell, Hunter’s attorney, believes there is still an arrangement between prosecutors that would have allowed Hunter to plead guilty to misdemeanor tax fraud charges in exchange for avoiding prosecution for gun charges.
In response to this suggestion from Lowell, Weiss wrote out details of how high Hunter was on drugs when he applied for several handguns in October 2018 – four years after being discharged from the US Navy due to cocaine use.
It is clear that public opinion has been heavily influenced by these events; California Mayor Gavin Newsom expressed his support for Hunter shortly after his discharge from the Navy became public knowledge.
The legal woes facing Hunter are also weighing heavily on President Joe Biden himself; advisors say he remains consumed by it despite pleas from many people that he distance himself publicly from Hunter’s issues.
A majority of Americans believe that President Biden has been involved in overseas business activities conducted by his son which ultimately led to some of the tax fraud charges against him today.
