Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu greeted the diplomat warmly, promising to “finish the job” against Iran with them. He’s thrilled that President Donald Trump has been supporting the Israelis with real substance. All he got from Democrats was idle talk and outright resistance.
Israel moving fast
On Sunday, February 16, Israel welcomed Marco Rubio to Tel Aviv with open arms. Joining the secretary at the press podium was a grinning and enthusiastic Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This was Rubio’s first trip to visit our ally.
He was on his way to get the Ukraine peace talks started in Saudi Arabia but wanted to drop by and say hello. He also personally watched over the massive bombs being delivered.
“Over the last 16 months,” Netanyahu observed, “Israel has dealt a mighty blow to Iran’s terror axis.” They were just getting warmed up. Attacking the Ayatollah wasn’t easy under Joe Biden, who was rooting for the other side.
Things are a lot different in D.C. now. “Under the strong leadership of President Trump I have no doubt that we can and will finish the job,” he assures.
Rubio agrees, pointing out that there “could never be a nuclear Iran.” It simply can’t be allowed to happen. “It’s important to constantly point that whether we talk about Hamas or we talk about Hezbollah, we talk about violence in the West Bank, or we talk about destabilization in Syria, or we talk about any of these issues the militias in Iraq, they all have behind them one common theme – Iran.”
It’s time for Israel to cut the head off the snake. The CIA will be helping them with that. “That must be addressed,” Rubio added.
Strike this year
Spooks with various U.S. intelligence agencies “recently warned both the Biden and Trump administrations that Israel will likely attempt to strike facilities key to Iran’s nuclear program this year.”
It’s not sure where that leaked from but CNN calls them “sources familiar with the assessments.”
President Trump keeps telling Iran that he would rather make a peace deal. At the same time, it’s clear from his actions that he knows the Ayatollah is never going to back down.
His open backing of Israel with heavy munitions sends a clear message that he’s not waiting for peace talks to produce any results. “Major strikes on Iranian nuclear sites could increase the risk of a wider war breaking out in the Middle East,” the spy networks believe.
Netanyahu would also love to eliminate the Ayatollah. “Overall, Israel is also still pursuing the broader goal of causing regime change in Iran, one of the recent U.S. intelligence reports says.” Together, we’re moving forward to “take over” Gaza and “displace Palestinians out of the devastated strip permanently.”
Israel is ready to pin a medal on Rubio. “It may have shocked and surprised many,” Rubio notes, “but what cannot continue is the same cycle where we repeat over and over again and wind up in the exact same place.“
