The final communications of the Nashville mass shooter, Audrey Hale, have been revealed.

She had made a post on social media, then messaged a friend of hers telling her that something “bad” was about to happen.

Her warning also came with the threat of suicide, so, once again, our system failed us in preventing a tragedy that could have possibly been stopped.

Hale had sent messages to Averianna Patton, who was a former teammate on a middle school basketball team.

Hale wrote, “So basically that post I made on here about you, that was basically a suicide note. I’m planning to die today.

“THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!! You’ll probably hear about me on the news after I die.

“This is my last goodbye. I love you … See you again in another life.”

Patton immediately responded, “Audrey! You have so much more life to live. I pray God keeps and covers you.”

Hale replied, “I know but I don’t want to live. I’m so sorry. I’m not trying to upset you or get attention.

“I just need to die.

“I wanted to tell you first because you are the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen and known all my life.

“My family doesn’t know what I’m about to do.

“One day this will make more sense.

“I’ve left more than enough evidence behind.

“But something bad is about to happen.”

This, of course, has now led the liberal media to trying to paint Hale as a victim, but she was clearly mentally unstable and about to do something crazy.

Here are my questions…

Patton reached out to authorities and told them what Hale said, and she was referred to a suicide hotline.

Considering the language that Hale used, why was her phone not pinged to find out where she was so police could try to stop her?

Second, Patton confirmed that Hale had been suicidal before, so how did she pass a background check to obtain the weapons.

I have said it before and it clearly needs to be said again… we do not need new laws, we need to fix the mental health aspect of this and execute the laws that are already on the books.

I won’t go so far as to say this would have been prevented, because there was only about 20 minutes from that message to the time that Hale entered that school, but it sure would have been nice for police to have the opportunity to be proactive rather than reactive.
