Giuliani filed a lawsuit against Joe Biden for defamation.
He is targeting comments that were made about him during the 2020 election season at a debate.

Giuliani is getting crushed financially right now, so he is clearly doing this to get some cash back in the bank, but he also has a case.
During the 2020 debates, Biden was asked about Russian interference, and he responded, “Well I won’t get — I shouldn’t — well, I will.
“His buddy, Rudy Giuliani. He’s being used as a Russian pawn. He is being fed information that is Russian — that is not true.”
Trump saw the opening and egged Biden on about the Hunter Biden laptop.
Joe responded, “Look, there are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what this, he’s accusing me of is a Russian plan.
“They have said that this has all the characteristics — four, five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except him and his good friend Rudy Giuliani.”
Today, we know that letter was egged on by Antony Blinken, and we also know the laptop is actually legit.
Biden, of course, knew all this when he made these statements, so Giuliani has a legitimate beef here.
The filing stated, “Defendant Biden knew that the preceding statement about the laptop and asserting that the Plaintiff lied about the content of the laptop were untrue and Defendant Biden knew it to be untrue.”
The challenge, of course, will be the judge where this lands. If it goes before the wrong person, it will be dismissed with prejudice, and that will be the end of it.
Even if he wins the initial case, he will still have to hope it winds up in front of the right appeals court panel, or it will be overturned.
I just hope it is permitted to go forward because I would love to see Biden subpoenaed and forced to testify.
