These past few weeks have been filed with turmoil as Republicans and Democrats clash over the potential of launching an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
However, what’s really shocking is how a GOP congressman has just come to Biden’s defense, claiming there’s no evidence to support the impeachment.
U.S. Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) recently made his stance clear in an interview with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, claiming that the inquiry is without evidence and is merely being used by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to distract from other issues.
WOW.
Republican Congressman Ken Buck, a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus SLAMS MTG for her obsession with impeaching President Biden:

U.S. Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), has also weighed in on the matter, calling for an impeachment inquiry before she later shifted her position prior to the September 30 deadline.
In his interview with Psaki, Buck defended against any potential impeachment of President Biden, rejecting calls from Greene that Congress should begin proceedings immediately despite lacking evidence linking him to any high crime or misdemeanor offense: “The idea that that she is now the expert on impeachment or that she is someone who should set the timing on impeachment is absurd.”
Last weekend, Greene posted, “Our country deserves for Congress to vote for an impeachment inquiry for very important reasons, not a rush impeachment vote.”
He further noted how Greene had only just proposed articles of impeachment days after Biden was sworn in.
Buck stated, “The time for impeachment is the time when there’s evidence linking President Biden — if there’s evidence linking President Biden to a high crime or misdemeanor. That doesn’t exist right now.”
In response however, Greene accused Buck of shilling on behalf of Biden: ”When is Ken Buck going to announce he’s a Democrat? The amount of shilling for Joe Biden is astounding,” she wrote, adding “Almost like he’s hoping Joe is going to appoint him for something.”
It’s clear there remains some tension between Republicans over their opinions concerning an investigation into President Biden’s conduct while in office so far this year.
