If there is one thing that I know about Joe Biden, it is that the people he employs in the White House are some of the most incompetent people you’ll ever find. If they aren’t incompetent, they end up using their skills for bad deeds.
The Biden team has been caught red handed in yet another scandal. According to reporting by left-wing outlet The Daily Beast, Joe Biden’s communications team has asked reporters in advance what questions they are planning to ask incompetent White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki at press briefings.
Circle Back
It seems that after being roasted by conservatives on Twitter for her incompetence in answering nearly every question with a version of “let me circle back to you on that,” the Biden communications team has changed their tactics. Instead of preparing Psaki with answers to possible questions like any other administration has done, they decided to just ask the left-wing press for the questions ahead of time.
A montage of all of the times Psaki said “circle back” was shared on YouTube by Grabien. It gained over 67,000 views, and was shared across social media platforms like Twitter.
Predetermined Questions
The Daily Beast referenced “three sources with knowledge of the matter, as well as written communications reviewed by The Daily Beast” who implied that the Biden administration’s communications team had made the approaches to reporters.
“One reporter raised the issue during an informal White House Correspondents Association Zoom call last Friday. According to multiple sources, leaders at the meeting advised print reporters to push back against requests by the White House press team to learn of questions in advance, or simply to not respond to the Biden team’s inquiries,” The Daily Beast claimed.
“It pissed off enough reporters for people to flag it for the [WHCA] for them to deal with it,” one source told The Daily Beast.
The left-wing outlet also included a quote from a White House spokesperson who stated, “Our goal is to make the daily briefing as useful and informative as possible for both reporters and the public. Part of meeting that objective means regularly engaging with the reporters who will be in the briefing room to understand how the White House can be most helpful in getting them the information they need. That two-way conversation is an important part of keeping the American people updated about how government is serving them.”
In a moment that surprised almost no one, Eric Schultz, a former deputy press secretary during the Obama administration came out and said that this approach was normal.
“This is textbook communications work. The briefing becomes meaningless if the press secretary has to repeatedly punt questions, instead of coming equipped to discuss what journalists are reporting on. In a non-covid environment, this would happen in casual conversations throughout the day in lower and upper press. One of the few upsides to reporters hovering over your desk all day, is that you get a very quick sense of what they’re working on,” Schultz said.
Democrat presidents like Obama and Biden are able to get away with pretty much anything. It is not a shock that the Obama communications team likely spoke to reporters ahead of press briefings to prepare answers to questions, as the mainstream press often fawns over left-wing administrations.
“Conservative Twitter”
Further proof that conservatives calling out the incompetence of Psaki has reached the Biden administration came when Psaki called out “conservative Twitter” during a February 1 press briefing.
“And last thing I want to do before I get to your questions: I often note I am going to circle back. I hate to disappoint conservative Twitter, but I am going to circle back on a number of things, as we often do directly,” said Psaki.
Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec alleged in a tweet that members of the Biden administration may be frustrated with Psaki’s incompetence as well, writing: “Even Kamala and Jill are getting fed up with Psaki’s circle back repetitions, per my source. ‘Come prepared or don’t come at all’ is starting to gain traction in the WH.”

Other Twitter users are pointing out the blatant double standards between the treatment and actions of the Trump administration versus the Biden administration.
“If [Kayleigh McEnany] didn’t have an answer on the spot for a reporter, 99% of the time she would open her notes and know which page it was on and tell them on the spot. I can’t remember her saying she was going to ‘circle back.’ Jen Psaki is legitimately bad at her job,” Caleb Hull tweeted.
