If that strike happens, without a doubt, any hopes that Biden has of being elected go up in smoke.
So, he is asking Congress to bail him out, and it appeared that McConnell and McCarthy were more than willing to help him out.
All for Unions… Until
Joe Biden had aligned himself with unions, yet he was about to break them.
Four unions are holding out on the contract that had been negotiated just prior to the mid-term election.
This was a contact, by the way, that Biden touted that saved the strike, only it didn’t…

So, Biden now becomes a union buster, going against the wishes of four major rail unions that were unhappy with the contract.
Let’s see how that all plays out when it is time for union endorsements in 2024.
