Shop NowIt looks like this weekend has certainly been eventful for the Biden family. On Sunday, September 17, an armed man was seen protesting near President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware. The man was carrying two signs about Hunter Biden’s recent indictment.
This comes after the news of Hunter Biden facing up to 25 years in prison due to his purchase of a firearm while addicted to drugs.
Delaware is an open carry state which allows individuals to possess firearms on their person without license or permit.
The man in question was seen wearing a yellow and orange safety vest and holding two signs that read “Bidens are criminals, 20 shell companies?! Where’s the laptop? 10% for the big guy” and “Joe has aliases?! Robert L. Peters, Robin Ware, JRN Ware.”
He walked by the pool of reporters assigned to cover the president before walking down the road toward his home with a Secret Service vehicle trailing him.
President Joe Biden arrived in Wilmington Friday evening but only stayed briefly before traveling back to Washington DC on Sunday afternoon ahead of attending fundraisers and participating in U.N General Assembly events later this week.
During his brief stay he attended mass services at St Joseph on Brandywine Church whereupon leaving he ignored a reporter inquiring if he would pardon his own son for his charges – something which White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had already confirmed would not happen earlier that day during her briefing when she said “I’ve answered this question before and I was very clear. I said no”.
The president also made reference to this subject during remarks addressing the United Auto Workers strike but did not commit either way saying “That’s all I’m going to say” before walking out of the room.
