Prominent figures, athletes and Hollywood elites are speaking out both for and against the COVID jab that has been dividing people across the globe.
Hollywood Actor Stands His Ground
One of the most recent stars to say no to bodily coercion is Emilio Estevez who is part of “The Mighty Ducks.”
“The Mighty Ducks” films have been popular fan favorites and Estevez starred as Coach Gordon Bombay – a prominent figure for the franchise series. The show is getting a second season on the streaming platform Disney+ which has put out “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.”
This is not the first time the streaming platform has discriminated against free choice. Gina Carano was on the popular “Star Wars” series called “The Mandalorian” and she was fired for simply being a conservative.
The “Mighty Ducks” show is requiring all involved with the show to get the COVID shot and the Hollywood actor would not confirm that he did so. Estevez has been nominated for a Golden Globe but the future success he might miss out on did not deter him from standing his ground. He reportedly gave up a whopping $9 million over his decision.
Dictator Disney
Disney decided that any productions as of mid-October must have all people working on set to be “vaccinated,” regardless of medical inabilities or religious convictions.
Rapper Nicki Minaj was attacked after she showed wavering thoughts on if the COVID shot is completely safe after her cousin had troubling symptoms after being vaccinated. Supermodel Doutzen Kroes also decided to publicly promote her thoughts on freedom.
Speaking Out and Standing Strong
“I can no longer turn a blind eye to the injustice that is happening in front of us,” Kroes wrote. “Although my hands are shaking while writing this, I feel it is time to choose courage over comfort and speak my truth. I will not be forced to take the shot. I will not be forced to prove my health to participate in society. I will not accept exclusion of people based on their medical status.”
While still in the minority, it is nice to see some famous people and Hollywood stars reject the COVID demands and stick with promoting personal choice.
