An all claws out cat-fight is raging in Hollywood between one irate celebrity activist and media powerhouse Oprah Winfrey. Rose McGowan, notorious for leveling the charges which brought down Harvey Weinstein, is furious that Winfrey pulled the plug on a tell-all documentary exposing another of Winfrey’s pals, apparently to help cover it up.
I am glad more are seeing the ugly truth of @Oprah. I wish she were real, but she isn’t. From being pals with Weinstein to abandoning & destroying Russell Simmon’s victims, she is about supporting a sick power structure for personal gain, she is as fake as they come. #lizard pic.twitter.com/RCuXNpWCU0

Oprah covering for rapist
The name Oprah Winfrey has become a household word over the past few decades. The popular media host “has built an empire and reportedly earns about $300 million per year.” She loves to spend all that money helping Democrats, especially the friends of Barack Obama. She also likes to hang out with perverts.
It’s no secret that she was close with Harvey Weinstein. She’s also buddies with purported sexual abuser Russell Simmons.
The record executive allegedly harassed, assaulted, or raped at least 13 women, Several say they were under 18 at the time but whether Oprah knew it or not isn’t the question.
Winfrey was all set “to executive produce a film titled ‘On the Record'” which would “give voice” to the women’s claims. At the last minute she backed out.
Winfrey freely admitted that “Simmons had pressured her to walk away from the documentary,” but that’s not why she did it. Oprah “insists that her ties to Simmons had nothing to do with her decision.”
She doesn’t have any good explanation for why she did it though. She expects all her fans to ignore it and forget the whole thing. “Their stories deserve to be told and heard,” she notes. She simply won’t be “assisting in the production or funding of the film.”
Oprah Winfrey wants “it to be known that I unequivocally believe and support the women.” She may but nobody else does and production pancaked.
“Winfrey’s extremely public abandonment of the project resulted in Apple choosing to drop plans to air the film on their streaming platform striking a devastating blow to the project.”
Rose McGowan wasn’t surprised at the move but she wasn’t about to let Oprah get away with it clean.
The “actress and activist” has “found herself at the business end of the media-industrial complex’s ire since she came out against convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein.” She’s used to taking matters into her own hands. She went straight to Twitter and the war is on.
“I am glad more are seeing the ugly truth of Oprah,” McGowan tapped out. I wish she were real, but she isn’t. From being pals with Weinstein to abandoning & destroying Russell Simmon’s victims, she is about supporting a sick power structure for personal gain, she is as fake as they come.”
She had to embellish it with a photo of “Winfrey kissing convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein’s cheek at an awards dinner.”
