Shop NowFive of our own soldiers were injured during a raid in Iraq. When the cordite smoke cleared, fifteen goat-humping ISIS militants were on their way to paradise. Things got interesting on Thursday when U.S. forces teamed up with local Iraqi units to target Islamic State terrorists. Two of the injured service members are recovering from “falls that occurred during the operation.”
Raid on ISIS
It must have been one heck of a raid. Either that, or the recruits we’re getting since the DEI regulations went into effect are a bunch of what Audie Murphy would have called “goldbrickers.”
That legendary soldier turned actor “played himself in the 1955 autobiographical film To Hell and Back.” A little fall wouldn’t put him on the injured list. In all fairness to the injured soldiers, it sounds like they maybe fell from a chopper.
A Pentagon official who’s friendly with The Hill informed them off the record “one wounded soldier had to be evacuated for additional treatment while one who suffered the fall had to be moved out of the region.”
The US military has reported that seven of its soldiers were wounded during a raid in western Iraq.

CENTCOM confirmed on Friday, August 30, that the raid “resulted in the death of 15 ISIS operatives.”
The goat humping terrorists were dressed to kill, armed with “numerous weapons, grenades, and explosive ‘suicide‘ belts.” CENTCOM was happy to report that the only injuries were to our own troops.
There “was no indication of civilian casualties” resulting from the raid. One thing our forces have mastered is the surgical precision strike.

Targeted ISIS leaders
ISIS leaders were the primary target of this operation. We were planning to “disrupt and degrade ISIS’ ability to plan, organize, and conduct attacks against Iraqi civilians.”
They’ve been bullying “U.S. citizens, allies, and partners throughout the region and beyond.” After the main raid, they handed things over to Iraqi Security Forces. They’re letting the locals further “exploit” the locations raided.
The Iraqi military had a few informative things to say about the raid in their own press release. Airstrikes, they note, “targeted the hideouts, followed by an airborne operation.” They were proud to announce scoring some high value targets.

“Among the dead were key ISIS leaders.” They haven’t been named, though. “All hideouts, weapons and logistical support were destroyed, explosive belts were safely detonated and important documents, identification papers and communication devices were seized.” All in all, a good day’s work.
The Pentagon was hoping for some good news to report. Also if we’re going to send our forces into Mid-Eastern battles, this one isn’t against Palestinians. That’s not popular with left wing Democrats.
The Hill notes that the raid comes as “threats from terrorist groups such as the Islamic State have been spiking worldwide for three years after the U.S. withdrew from Afghanistan.” Joe Biden’s handlers totally botched that one. The big reason for this raid was retaliation for threatening “a Taylor Swift concert in Austria.“
