For instance, surveillance photos recently captured several armed men believed to be cartel members working their way across the border.

Fox News obtained photos of three men armed with long guns that were coming across the border.
The crossing reportedly happened near Fronton.
When the Border Patrol investigated the site of the crossing, the trail had already gone cold.
This is the second time in as many months something like this has happened.
In a June incident, five people believed to be members of the Cartel Del Noreste were seen crossing with guns and tactical gear.

Just last week, another man was spotted by a drone crossing the Rio Grande, armed with a rifle, leading a pack of migrants.
That man made his way back across the river before authorities could capture him.
In an effort to stop these crossings, Governor Greg Abbott has put up barriers along the Rio Grande, but the Biden administration is now suing Texas to have them removed.
Abbott is taking heat from Democrats for the death of two people that have been caught in the barriers, but they are getting little empathy from conservatives who are holding the line that if they had not been trying to cross illegally, they would not be dead.
