The Durham Children’s Aid Society is a charity you may want to earmark never to donate to again if you have in the past.
The organization has teamed up with another organization to run Drag Queen Storytime events in May and June.
Just Why?
I cannot help but wonder why parents want to expose young children to this.
This has actually been happening for quite some time.
Durham Youth Pride has been partnering with the Children’s Aid Society for the last five years to do these events.
They tout them as “family-friendly events,” but I do not get what is so family-friendly about a man dressed in women’s lingerie talking to children.
Perhaps we should start having stripper storytime events as well… let’s see how that goes over.
They say the event “celebrates diversity and teaches love, inclusion, and acceptance in a safe space.”
What else does this charity promote?
Well, it also promotes transition surgery for children… so this is more of a grooming charity than it is anything to actually benefit children.
This is just something that I will never accept.
