Some deep blue districts were penetrated, as we saw in New York.
There was also some damage done in California, in one of the most liberal cities in the state.
The Red Ripple
There were some positives to be taken from the last election, even though it was definitely disappointing.
We have seen some deep blue spots in this country start to wake up to the realities of the liberal agenda.
That happened in a city where I hardly expected to see change… West Hollywood.
This was once home to a city council member who was considered one of the state’s most progressive politicians.
He was voted out in 2020, as the push back started against the defund the police movement, which has hit this city particularly hard.
Jessica Levinson, an election law professor at Loyola Law School, stated, “It’s always been seen as very progressive, but a lot of the residents are also aging into more moderate positions.”
Levinson added, “Progressive and not-progressive doesn’t always cut cleanly on criminal justice issues.
“When people feel their safety is threatened in any way, they tend to not vote as liberal as maybe they otherwise would.”
Now that we are getting grip in these areas, those elected need to deliver and show that the conservative agenda is far better than what Democrats have been doing.
