He knows the GOP is licking its chops to come after him.
So, now he is claiming that he had nothing to do with schools being closed down.
By all accounts, that is just a blatant lie.
Didn’t Do It
Fauci has given about 10 different versions regarding the impact of the lockdown during COVID.
When asked if he thought it was a mistake to keep schools closed for so long by ABC News’ Jonathan Karl, he stated, “I don’t want to use the word’ mistake,’ Jon, because if I do, it gets taken out of the context that you’re asking me the question on.
“And I don’t want to do that because that’s just happened too many times over the last years with me.”
Karl even gave him an out…

That is a blatant lie and Karl just proved he is a hack by not having his ducks in a row.
Fauci may not have pulled the trigger, but his recommendation led to schools being closed.
Then there is this, which Karl should have brought up during that interview…

You see, when the lockdowns were being touted for saving lives, Fauci could not take credit for making the recommendation quickly enough.
Now that studies are proving how damaging they were, he wants nothing to do with them.
