He is one of the handful of people that I was hoping to hear from to break down this indictment of Trump.
He and Jonathan Turley, another legal mind I have great respect for, chimed in to break down the case as much as they could with the information we have available.
Wrong Guy
Gowdy has actually made several appearances on this, but I think this video here is the best of all of them.
Gowdy made a great point here in that if you are trying to take someone down, you need to go after them with your best case first.
In this case, not only is it arguably the weakest case of the bunch, but you also have arguably the worst prosecutor to go after Trump.
If Bragg screws the pooch on this, it could put all those other cases in jeopardy…
I have stated this before, but it probably needs to be said again…
The real concern for me here is whether or not Trump can get a fair trial or not.
We already know the judge assigned to him would relish putting Trump in jail.
That leaves a jury pool in a very blue city that will likely be loaded with Democrats, so this could be a tough go for Trump.
The good news is that there will be appeals and hopefully, if he does get convicted, his appeal falls on a friendlier court.
