Stormy Daniels, the porn star that alleged an affair with Donald Trump, says she has phone records that are going to ruin Trump.
Gonna Hurt
Daniels was paid $130,000 in hush money from Trump to keep the alleged affair quiet before the 2016 election.
The scandal is in how Trump categorized the money and if campaign funds were used to pay the bribe.
After a letter from Michael Cohen was made public, showing that he stated he paid the initial funds out of his own pocket, the trolls online went after Stormy.
One user wrote, “Are you still laughing [Stormy Daniels] You seem to have stopped tweeting obsessively about Trump but I’m sure you’re having the last laugh.”
Daniels responded, “I’m sure I will.
“I’ve been handing over phone records to my attorney today (they’re gonna hurt!) and planning spring break activities with my kid. It was a wonderful day.”
The Cohen note is irrelevant, by the way, and we already knew that from a prior investigation.
Cohen did use his own money, but he was also reimbursed by Trump, with the funds being written off as legal fees, which is where the possible charges loom.
This was a slap-on-the-wrist and fine violation, not a national headline.
So, Stormy, regardless of what those phone records say, I doubt they can do anything but get the morale police up in a tizzy.
