Shop NowWho knew Joe Biden could become buddy buddy with someone from the Republican Party. In a shocking turn of events, Biden actually offered his support to Florida Governor and GOP candidate Ron DeSantis.
On Wednesday evening, September 27, DeSantis was celebrated by current President Joe Biden during the Republican Presidential Primary Debate hosted by Fox Business and Univision.
This is not the first time that Biden and DeSantis have found themselves in agreement, as the two were very supportive of each other during the Surfside Condominium collapse.
This seems a bit…odd. So what’s going on here?

In the clip, Ron DeSantis criticized President Trump for his economic policies which had led to added debt and inflation in America.
During the debate, DeSantis took an interesting shot at President Trump by saying “Donald Trump is missing in action tonight. He should be on this stage. He owes it to you to defend his record where they added 7.8 trillion to the debt. That set the stage for the inflation that we have now.”
Unsurprisingly, this did not go unnoticed with Biden tweeting out “Couldn’t agree more” shortly after.
Meanwhile, Trump was indeed present but campaigning at an auto parts factory in Michigan instead – attempting to appeal to members of the United Auto Workers Union who were on strike at that time.

This wasn’t even their first encounter either as Biden had previously reached out to DeSantis when dealing with Surfside Condominium collapse – showing immense support for each other as representatives from opposing parties.
To some people, these interactions are welcomed news as it goes against the grain of traditional politics which often sees different parties divided and unwilling to cooperate or compromise on anything regardless of its importance or urgency.
On the other hand, some individuals found the support to be odd, even questioning whether a Biden intern was filling in on his Twitter account at the time.
Regardless, the alliance was definitely strange.
“We’re letting the nation know we can cooperate. When it’s really important … This is life and death.”
