She was so overcome with joy, she seemingly forgot how our justice system works.
It was either that, or Democrats have been getting away with so much and judging people without all the evidence, that she truly thought the system changed.
How Does That Work?
After Trump’s indictment came down, Pelosi stated, “The Grand Jury has acted upon the facts and the law.
“No one is above the law, and everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence.
“Hopefully, the former President will peacefully respect the system, which grants him that right.”
There were quite a few people who reminded Pelosi of how the system actually works…
Uh it's "innocent until proven guilty" not opportunity to "prove innocence" https://t.co/eOfpYszKLi

Wrong. So obviously wrong. Most Middle Schoolers know this—at least they used to, when civics and the Constitution was respected in schools.
You're innocent until proven guilty. https://t.co/edaKuOlxbe

It is sad when a former House Speaker is so twisted that even she thinks someone has to prove their innocence rather than prosecutors proving their guilt.
