At least that is how many in the black community are interpreting Jill’s offer to have Iowa visit the White House even though they did not win the championship.
The winning team, LSU, had a grudge against the Bidens even before that invitation, snubbing Jill before the game.
No Thanks
Jill Biden expressed an interest in visiting the locker rooms before the start of the women’s NCAA championship game.
LSU’s Angel Reese confirmed that the team declined her request as well as why.
As it turns out, the players were upset that Joe Biden picked against LSU in the tournament and had them going out in the second round.
Reese stated, “Apparently she was supposed to come to our locker room before the game, but we said no.
“She was supposed to come to our locker room and go to Iowa’s locker room. I don’t know if she talked to them.
“But we said we didn’t want to. We didn’t want her coming into the locker room.”
“I think Joe Biden had put somebody else to win the national championship.
“He didn’t even put us on his bracket to get out of Baton Rouge, so I was like, ‘Bet.’… I think that he said we were going to lose to Michigan or something.”
After Jill invited Iowa, now it sounds like LSU does not even want to visit the White House.
Reese added, “That was from the heart. That was from the mind. That was what it was in the moment.
“As soon as that happened, [the team] hit the group chat, like, ‘What’re we doing? Are y’all trying to go?’… We made a lot of phone calls, and that’s why she wants to come and apologize.
“I’m not going to lie to you because I don’t accept her apology. … I said what I said. … You felt like [Iowa] should’ve came because of sportsmanship; they can have that spotlight.
“We’ll go to the Obamas. We’ll see Michelle. We’ll see Barack.”
So, imagine that… the Bidens being accused of being racists.
