Shop NowThere may be some foolish people out there that truly believe that Special Counsel Jack Smith was appointed in an attempt by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to bring legitimate charges against former President Donald Trump. But clearly this couldn’t be any further from the truth.
The reality is that Smith was hired as a hitman whose only mission is – and always has been – to take out Trump.
When Attorney General Merrick Garland, top DOJ officials, and Joe Biden’s handlers met to plan their next assault on the former president they all agreed on one thing: They needed to make sure that Donald Trump never makes it to Election Day.
To achieve this goal, they had two options for the role of assassin: Andrew Weissmann, who ran the Mueller witch hunt for three years knowing that there was no real evidence of collusion between Russia and Trump or Jack Smith.
It didn’t take them long to reach a decision – Smith would be their man.
The reason why Attorney General Garland and his cohorts chose Jack Smith may seem surprising at first glance but upon closer examination it becomes clear why he was chosen over other candidates.
After all, one only needs look at his past record as proof enough of his ability as an assassin rather than a legal genius – most notably when he destroyed popular Republican Governor Bob McDonnell’s life and career by indicting him on federal corruption charges back in 2014 despite McDonnell being innocent in the eyes of an 8-0 Supreme Court ruling just two years later.
Smith’s job wasn’t necessarily about bringing about justice but more so about ensuring that McDonnell would never run for office again– something which he ultimately achieved with ease.
Fast forward six years later and we now see Jack Smith being employed by Garland once again – except this time his mission is even bigger: taking out Donald Trump before Election Day comes around.
This means silencing him politically speaking and preventing him from campaigning in any way possible – including attempting to gag both himself AND his lawyers from speaking publicly about classified documents related to his case which were held while serving as president.
He also has no qualms whatsoever about regularly leaking false information regarding trumped up accusations against President Donald Trump directly into the press.
At its core this entire situation boils down to one simple fact – Democrats don’t care if Jack Smith wins or loses.
