FBI warns Congress
FBI director Christopher Wray popped over to Capitol Hill and delivered a warning to the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party.
The sneaky yellow devils are “positioning on American infrastructure in preparation to wreak havoc and cause real-world harm to American citizens and communities, if or when China decides the time has come to strike.”
The FBI thinks this is yet another indicator that the rumors swirling around the Taiwan strait are true. The ones that say the Pooh Bear is getting ready to “quarantine” his problem territory now.
Christopher Wray basically told the entire world that the FBI cannot keep up with the Chinese Communist Party’s hackers. Wray claims they if all cyber personnel were to be used, the United States would be outnumbered 50 to 1.

He’s not ready for an invasion but the U.S. is even less prepared for war. So, Xi Jinping reasons, it’s time to strike while the iron is hot. He knows full well that “success often depends on not letting the right moment slip.”
The Federal Bureau of Instigation has been whining and whimpering about China’s offensive cyber capabilities for months. This is different. “Wray’s dramatic public warning underlines the huge level of concern at the top of the U.S. government about the threat Chinese hackers pose to critical infrastructure nationwide.”
The FBI isn’t alone in their assessment of the threat. “The head of the National Security Agency and other senior US officials are also testifying on Chinese cyber activity in front of the panel Wednesday.”
Water, power and oil
Wray casually informed Congress that the FBI has solid intelligence to back up a charge that PRC hackers are targeting “our water treatment plants, our electrical grid, our oil and natural gas pipelines, our transportation systems.”
You thought those funny slogans like “Let’s Go Brandon” on the freeway signs were kids with too much time on their hands. Maybe not.
Chinese hackers, Wray insists, are working “to find and prepare to destroy or degrade the civilian critical infrastructure that keeps us safe and prosperous.” The FBI even knows what software they’re using.

He also knows Congress doesn’t have the brightest bulbs on the lamp so broke it down in small words even Democrats can understand. “And let’s be clear: Cyber threats to our critical infrastructure represent real world threats to our physical safety.”
The FBI is convinced that Chinese hackers are “using access to some of the devices to burrow further into sensitive critical infrastructure — things like ports and transportation networks.”
Most of Joe’s handlers are convinced Xi’s getting all set for an invasion of Taiwan. At the very least a blockade like “quarantine,” which appears to be in progress.
