Miss Spartanburg International and Miss South Carolina Teen International winner Madison Cox has been arrested for fabricating doctor’s papers which detailed her extended absences from school.

According to the Duncan Police Department, the beauty queen stole a pad from Parris Family Chiropractic to write herself a doctor’s note excusing herself from school.

Cox is a student at Byrnes High school.

Unfortunately, the dates Cox had written on the doctor’s note were not accurate, as the office was closed on the days noted.

Cox recounted the incident in a now-deleted tweet online, asking, “Did they really just put me on the news BC I went to jail for a DOCTORS NOTE???.”

Well, in South Carolina, forging the signature of a licensed physician is a big deal.

Cox continued to express distaste at her newly found fame, tweeting that she felt it was okay for her to get out of class solely because she was a beauty queen.

“I’ve got to learn to stop being so childish and keep my mouth closed,” the South Carolina beauty queen added. And when the people started calling her out in her tweets, she just replied “It’s sad that I’m the only entertainment in y’alls lives.”

Luckily for this student, the forgery charges against her have been dropped by the South Carolina law enforcement officials.

This self-entitled beauty queen could’ve easily landed in jail for quite some time with such a serious offense.
