After bottoming out the prime time ratings, CNN decided to kill their daytime ratings and ship Lemon over to “CNN This Morning.”
It worked because the show is tanking, showing some of its worst rating ever.
It must be getting to Lemon to realize that he is the cause of all this failure because he is getting snippy with his co-costs.
The Finger
I have watched the show a few times just to see the train wreck, and I had the pleasure of tuning in during a discussion about viewership and pay for women’s sports compared to men’s sports.
Lemon got short with the ladies then, and it has become a habit.
After Kaitlin Collins tried to chime in on a conversation, Lemon got heated, putting his finger up, giving her the cue to shut up until the man was done talking.
The report stated, “While off-air, however, 56-year-old Lemon got ‘nasty’ at 30-year-old Collins, scolding her for ‘interrupting’ him, which left the female co-host ‘visibly upset.'”

Lemon missed the ensuing show, possibly to cool down, and he also missed a group gathering before the White House Christmas Party.
Between the ratings and the drama, how much longer can CNN afford to keep Lemon on the payroll?
