While there is no exact answer yet as to what could have caused such a catastrophic event, investigators believe that natural gas may have played some role in these explosions.
This theory comes from reports indicating that several explosions occurred during firefighters’ attempts at putting out the flames, leading many experts to conclude that natural gas likely contributed significantly to this disaster.
This terrible event serves as yet another reminder of how quickly life can change and how important it is for us all to be mindful about safety protocols when working around hazardous materials such as natural gas or combustible substances like oil or gasoline.
While nothing can undo what has happened here today, we sympathize deeply with all those impacted by this tragedy and hope for better days ahead.
