Why 44,000 Pounds Of Peanut Butter Was Trashed…

A random and bizarre incident occurred on an Illinois road, where a truck carrying over 44,000 pounds of peanut butter caught on fire.

Feldkamps Towing provided pictures of the incident, which showed burned up peanut butter strewn across the entire road – a mess that likely took quite a while to clean up given the recent heat.

The towing company posted on Facebook stating that they were successful in cleaning up the peanut butter mess thanks to the correct equipment. Thankfully, before their arrival, the local fire department was able to put out the truck fire.

WCIA’s report states that there has yet to be any additional information provided on possible injuries or what caused the truck fire.

However, it is important to mention that J.M. Smucker, the company responsible for making Jif peanut butter, has recently been recalled nationwide due to over 14 illnesses being linked to the product. The company cited possible salmonella contamination of their product.

The J. M. Smucker Co. stated that the recalled products have been sold across the nation in various stores, with multiple Jif products being impacted.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration shared that 12 states have received reports of illness caused by the recalled product.  So far, 14 cases of salmonella sickness have been reported, with two individuals hospitalized. Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported.

Those most at risk include children, elderly adults, and those with compromised immune systems. Salmonella infections frequently cause fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and bloody diarrhea in healthy people.

In some rare instances, salmonella infections can cause more serious conditions like endocarditis, arthritis, and vascular infections (i.e., infected aneurysms).

While the FDA investigates the multistate outbreak, other brands of peanut butter have risen.

In addition to these, Biden’s presidency has also been marked by runaway inflation. A record-breaking food crisis is in the works as a result of the peanut butter fiasco, the death of 10,000 cows in Kansas, growing shortages of baby formula, and unexplained agricultural fires.

All thanks to Biden’s incompetency.
