The Biden-Harris regime’s appointments to the administration have been nightmares going back to Interior Secretary and “Water Warrior” Deb Haaland, but with the nomination of Tracy Stone-Manning as Director of the Bureau of Land Management they’ve broken new ground. They’ve nominated an actual eco-terrorist who collaborated with EarthFirst sabotage. Stone-Manning received legal immunity in exchange for her testimony in a 1993 criminal trial according to The Daily Caller. It is highly likely that given the preponderance of evidence against her, the Democrat would’ve been convicted had she not flipped on her fellow eco-terrorists.
Daily Caller wrote,
“Stone-Manning testified that she sent an anonymous and threatening letter to the Forest Service in 1989 on behalf of John P. Blount, who she identified as her former roommate and a member of her circle of friends, court documents show. The letter warned that a local forest in Idaho set to be logged had been sabotaged with tree spikes, according to the documents.
“P.S. You bastards go in there anyway and a lot of people could get hurt,” the letter stated.
Tree-spiking is a little-known but absolutely horrific tactic of eco-terrorism in which large spikes or smaller 60 penny nails are driven into trees about to be harvested deep into the bark where they will go undetected until a logger’s chainsaw or a sawmill’s band saw makes contact and shatters injuring or killing loggers and lumber workers.
In 1987 The Washington Post described the practice as “among the most vicious of the strategies” employed by eco-terrorists. “While the tree is still in the forest, the spike is driven in at an angle so the head is hidden in the bark. It can shatter a chain saw on impact, sending pieces of razor-sharp steel flying,” The Post reported.
Barrasso Disgusted By Democrat Nominee’s Terrorist Sabotage
Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) represents Wyoming where among other mid-western and northwestern states logging is a huge industry and eco-terrorism is a serious law-enforcement concern. Barrasso was extremely critical of Biden’s latest insane nominee. The Western Journal wrote that Barrasso has pushed for Stone-Mannings disqualification due to her terrorist past.
“Tracy Stone-Manning collaborated with eco-terrorists,” Barrasso said, according to the Daily Caller. “She worked with extreme environmental activists who spiked trees, threatening the lives and livelihoods of loggers.”
“While she was given immunity from prosecution to testify against her companions in court, her actions were disgraceful,” he said.
Barrasso in an official statement laid bare his multiple concerns about Stone-Manning’s nomination.
“Based on her record, I am concerned that Ms. Stone-Manning does not fit the bill.
“Her career has been defined by her support for policies that restrict multiple-use activities on public lands.
“On Twitter and in other public forums, she has expressed views that threaten the livelihoods of energy producers, ranchers, farmers, loggers, and others with a stake in the responsible use of our natural resources.
“She opposes an ‘American energy dominance’ agenda.
“She supports prohibiting oil and gas development on federal lands and waters.
“She believes it was wrong to relocate the Bureau of Land Management’s headquarters from Washington, D.C. to Grand Junction, Colorado, so it would be closer to the resources the agency manages and the people it serves.
“Perhaps most troubling is Ms. Stone-Manning’s unvarnished political partisanship.
“In a tweet from February, she summarily dismissed concerns expressed by me and my Republican colleagues about then-Congresswoman Haaland’s nomination to be Secretary of the Interior as nothing more than ‘a dog-whistle reserved for a candidate of Haaland’s tribal status – and gender.’
“Last year, for political gain, she smeared a champion of commonsense conservation and member of this committee.
“As a member of the board of director and treasurer of Montana Conservation Voters, Ms. Stone-Manning signed-off on political ads attacking Montana Senator Steve Daines.
“Montanans saw right through it.
“So have I.”
The Associated Press report that the vote on Stone-Manning’s nomination has not yet been scheduled. If the GOP can unify and enlist at least one Democrat the utter psychosis of appointing an EarthFirst, tree-spiking, eco-terrorist to head the Bureau in charge of regulating LOGGING can be stopped.
