Twitter Has Just Lost A Big Time Censorship Lawsuit

Journalist Alex Berenson shared that the lawsuit between him and Twitter has been settled after the media giant admitted it was wrong to suspend him.

Apparently Twitter had permanently banned Berenson from the platform back in August 2021 after he contradicted COVID-19 messaging in a tweet, even though it had been factually accurate.

Berenson announced a settlement with Twitter on his Substack page, “Unreported Truths.”

Last August, Twitter banned me after I got five strikes under its Covid-19 misinformation policy. Which meant I’d supposedly made “claims of fact” that were “demonstrably false or misleading” and “likely to impact public safety or cause serious harm” (that’s the policy, that’s what it takes to get a strike, look it up).

Now we come to find those tweets “should not have led to my suspension”?

Here’s the tweet that got him “permanently suspended.”

The COVID-19 vaccines had been what the journalist was addressing, which have proven increasingly unable to prevent infection from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

The vaccines are actually recommended mainly to help prevent severe disease among individuals that contract the illness, despite them being authorized and approved for the prevention of the virus.

Initially, Twitter claimed that Berenson’s post was “misleading,” even though the company acknowledged that “studies indicate a reduction in vaccine effectiveness against the Omicron variant” of the virus.

Studies show that the shots provide little protection against Omicron and that what little protection there is quickly wanes.

In fact, some studies have revealed that the vaccine may actually make people more likely to contract the virus after a certain period of time following vaccination.

Here’s what The Post Millenial Reported:

Twitter has recently settled a lawsuit with Alex Berenson and reinstated his account.

After the reinstatement, Berenson posted some details about the suit to Twitter. Berenson said that the federal judge in the case, William Alsup, “offered two justifications” for allowing the “lawsuit to proceed on breach of contract grounds.”

These were emails sent to Berenson by a Twitter executive, who per Berenson’s account in the Wall Street Journal, repeatedly told him that “the company didn’t believe I was violating its rules.”

Then, on August 28, 2021, he was permanently banned for tweeting “It doesn’t stop infection. Or transmission.” The second reason was that Twitter had been “modifying its terms of service when it set up its five-strike Covid misinformation policy.”

Berenson further explained the judges’ decision, saying that “once the company voluntarily sets guidelines that it says it will follow in disciplining or banning users, IT MUST FOLLOW THOSE – possible even if its underlying terms of service say otherwise…”

America’s Frontline News reported that renowned physician and medical expert Dr. Andrew Bostom, MD, MS had been suspended by Twitter after posting a recent peer-reviewed study showing the COVID-19 vaccine impairs sperm count in men.
