Former First Lady Michelle Obama has just confessed that she could not stand her husband, former President Barack Obama, for over 10 years of their marriage.
The former First Lady dished out the admission during a recent exclusive interview with Revolt TV.
Michelle Obama stated, “People think I’m being catty for saying this: it’s like, there were 10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband. And guess when it happened? When those kids were little.”
She continued on to say, “[They] have demands. They don’t talk. They’re poor communicators. They cry all the time. They’re irrational. They’re needy. And you love them more than anything. And so you can’t blame them. So you turn that ire on each other.”

The former First Lady went on to explain:
“For 10 years while we’re trying to build our careers and worrying about school and who’s doing what and what, I was like, ‘Argh, this isn’t even!’” she said. “And guess what? Marriage isn’t 50/50, ever. Ever. There are times I’m 70, he’s 30. There are times he’s 60, 40. But guess what? Ten years. We’ve been married 30. I would take 10 bad years over 30 — it’s just how you look at it. People give up — ‘Five years; I can’t take it.’”
Despite her remarks and being mad at her husband, Obama was careful to add that she believed he was a “kind, smart person.”
Michelle has also previously discussed her experience as being the first black family in the White House.
“As black women, we deal with it, the whole thing about do you show up with your natural hair,” Obama said during an event with Ellen DeGeneres. “As first lady, I did not wear braids. Being the first … yeah, we had to ease up on the people. Cause I thought about it. I was like, it would be easier. Nope, nope. They’re not ready.”
As we know, the former President Barack Obama had originally been elected as an Illinois Senator in 2005 before announcing his bid for Presidency in 2007.
