There was a little experiment that was recently conducted at a random event to see how this Bud Light boycott is working out.
Clay Travis, the founder of Outkick, went to a concert in Tennessee.
He filled up a cooler of beer with three different beers, including Bud Light.
The results were not good for Bud Light.
Free Beer Here
Free beer at a concert! No matter the brand, most people would just dig in and grab a cold one.
That was not the case here.
Travis filled his cooler with Bud Light, Yuengling, and Michelob Ultra.
He let the cooler sit there for a few hours and let anyone take a beer that wanted one.
When he came back, the only beer that was left was Bud Light, and pretty much every can he put in there was still there…
At last report, Bud Light sales were down by 21 percent, while Coors and Miller picked increased their sales collectively by the same 21 percent.
Corporate tried to fix it by sidelining the ad executives that came up with the Dylan Mulvaney plan, but all that did was piss off gay bars, with five bars in Chicago starting a boycott that will surely catch on nationwide now.
Bud Light… you are in trouble.
